Winter Picnic: Tasty, Beautiful, Romantic!
If you are going to go out of town on the weekend, this is an excellent reason to have a picnic in the snow-covered forest. There are a lot of recipes for such trips so that you can prepare them at home in advance.
Try to cook simple snacks, pancakes, flat cakes, toasts or breadsticks on a winter picnic. You can prepare different sauces for dipping. Pre-sliced light-salted or pickled salmon, herring in a spicy marinade or pâté are good dishes to supplement cold snacks on a winter picnic.
Try the pumpkin sauce-dip.
- Pumpkin – 300 grams
- Cheese Philadelphia – 300 grams
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Tabasco sauce – to taste
- Parmesan – to taste
- Lemon (juice) – to taste
- Paprika – to taste
Cut pumpkin into cubes, place on a baking sheet, salt and sprinkle with olive oil. Wrap garlic in a foil and put on a baking sheet with pumpkin. Bake until it becomes soft.
Combine baked pumpkin, garlic, soft cheese in a blender, drip Tabasco, add lemon juice to taste, grated Parmesan, salt it.
Do not forget a thermos with an aromatic tea or hot chocolate, homemade liqueur or mulled wine. Dress warmly and go for a winter picnic!
Try to cook pea soup with smoked products, Hungarian goulash, meat and fish salmon stew with meat, vegetables, and potatoes, traditional Scandinavian meatballs with cowberry sauce. It is also convenient to bring a baked potato right in the foil, pies, fully prepared for baking meat or fish shish kebab.
Try the cranberry brandy
- Vodka – 1,5 liters
- Water – 1.5 liters
- Cranberry – 1 kilogram
- Sugar – 700 grams
- Juniper (berries) – to taste
Put washed berries in a saucepan, add sugar, pour in water, put juniper berries.
Bring the cranberry syrup to a boil, then remove from heat. Cool, strain into a separate container, wipe the berries through a sieve.
Pour the vodka into a syrup. Cool, pour into bottles. Keep in the fridge.
